We Are Stardust!!

We perceive our bodies as structures made of bones, flesh, blood, muscles, organs, skin etc. We are absolutely right. A mixture of molecules and atoms form our bodies. But how were they made?

Now let us remember the famous song “We are stardust” by Joni Mitchell. She said it right, we are actually Stellar Beings!! We ARE Stardust!! The unquestionable truth is all the fundamental substance in this universe and on this Earth started off at the core of a star. Scientists assert that the anatomy of the human body is 97% stardust, linking us to the universe. It regenerates our bodies throughout our lifetimes. Each and everything about this world has been loaned from a distant past inside of stars. From the earliest stars, the atoms and molecules found their way to us.

And here comes the doubt. In the spectrum of stars, we mostly observe hydrogen and less than 1% of oxygen whereas our body consists of 65% oxygen. How does this theory connect to the fact?

Well, the story began this way.

We have all heard that it is the Big Bang that set the universe in motion. And that it ended in a flash. After which, the universe expanded for about three seconds and then stayed cool. Specks of dust amassed into atoms. First, the simplest atoms, Hydrogen, and Helium were formed.

After a few million years, under the pull of gravity, the hydrogen atoms were drawn into clusters. As these clusters grew bigger, the pressure at the center increased causing the hydrogen atoms to fuse their nuclei This is Nuclear Fusion. Under the amplified pressure and temperature (10 million degrees C) the nuclei stirred to fuse. Hydrogen produced helium. And some of the hydrogen mass converted into light energy, which we call a star. Let us recollect Einstein's famous equation: E=mc2 here.

Like a nuclear reactor, the star as it got hotter it built heavier elements. This reaction continued to create larger and larger nuclei. Eventually, all the heavier elements like nitrogen, oxygen, iron, sulfur and phosphorus etc were formed.

There is no helium in our bodies. We find loads of carbon in people and other living things. And there is an abundance of oxygen in teh life on Earth. The bones and teeth are built with calcium. Iron deepens our red blood. Most of the hydrogen in our body floats in the form of water. The human body is about 60% water. So we can conclude that 93% of the mass in our body is stardust.

No star is undying. A star explodes when it reaches its saturated heaviness i.e., a supernova. When a massive star explodes, heaviest elements like iron, nickel, krypton, uranium, gold etc were formed. Therefore a star has to die to build To build metals like platinum and gold. A lot of outer space violence occurs when a star crashes! The burst out remnants travels all through the universe. They bunch with other stardust in time and create new stars and planets. This is the life of our universe. This is just a hazy idea. If we go deeper into it, it looks like a ‘convoluted gargantuan geometrical ambiguity’!! Yes, that much complexity!

No one is exactly sure about the beginning of life on Earth. But one thing is clear: Everything is from the outer space. Every atom in our body was shaped in the center of a star.

And those stellar explosions go on. We are as old as the universe. Some might have grounded just few hundred years ago or some a million years ago. But it all intermingled in our existence.

“I was never born. And will never die. I am from the ancient Universe”

So tonight look up at the sky and sing “Twinkle Twinkle little star..How I wonder what you are!!” keeping in mind that you were a twinkled star once!!

Thank You. Love!!

VALIDATION?? NO THANKS!!

I decided I should stop people validating me. Am I a commodity for someone to put a price tag on me?!
All of us have little validations throughout our lives. Validation starts from when we ask a child “Are you a good boy or bad boy?” or “Are you a good girl or bad girl?” Please no! Let’s stop these stupid questions. Who are we to validate them? Striving hard for pointless approval has become our adopted tendency. Sometimes it’s fine to be approved. But the setback comes when somebody undervalues us by disapproving us. Then it makes us insecure and it will drain us out.
People validate people. They could be your parents, best friends or social contacts. We are all humans here. What they say about us comes from their own ideas and agendas. It cannot be right.
Don’t give license to someone to tell you what your worth is. How long can you sit like a patient in front of others, by making them specialist doctors to diagnose you? Do you think all the doctors are sick free? We are after all few missing pieces of a big puzzle to others. Why should we expect them to be experts to finish our puzzle? Why should the feedback, ‘likes’ and ‘comments’ validate us? This is not to say that we should disregard others’ opinions. We can say ‘yes’ to others but we should never say ‘no’ to ourselves. Because the more we look for external validation, the more we will be taken away from our internal happiness.
Self-validation is more powerful in the end. We must learn to live in our own skins and validate ourselves. We all know when we really need a change. There are some best areas where we could validate and change ourselves truthfully.
Walk for you
“You are fat” “You are too skinny” “You are selfish” “This dress is not good on you” these are nothing but the influenced perspectives. You need not believe such labels. Trust me if there is any parameter for your inner validation, it’s only you. You should not fail to detect you as an important person. You must compare you with yourself. You must grade your greater versions.
Eat for you
Eat merely for you not to impress people. Because people neither going to look up at you when you eat at a star hotel nor they look down at you if you eat on a roadside. Eat for you. Value what you eat.
Think for you
You are the most important person for you. Don’t take yourself for granted. Laugh at your small mistakes. Forgive your biggest mistakes. Who is mistake-proof? Don’t sell yourself short. Don’t lose sleep to impress others. It gives you stress and tensions. Every second is a starting point to the future. Start over.
Live for you
I used to think that the rest of the world’s eyes are only on me. That limited me, it brought me down. One of my best friends once said that nobody has time to watch us. Yes. Now I stopped caring for others. I don’t even care for well pressed and perfectly creased outfits. I care for what I like.
Work for you
Set small goals, achieve them and make merry. This gives you the most important inner validation. Do what you know and what you love to do. Don’t put yourself in the wrong places to impress people who in fact don’t care for you. Can you please everyone honey?
Be yourself for you
Don’t fake validation. Be original. Be authentically happy with yourself. If you are feeling down it’s quite okay to feel down. No one can be happy all the time. Denying the truth is sheer invalidation. Quiet yourself. Listen to the truth inside you. You are your best master. You are enough for you to validate you. Become your strict critic. Don’t compromise. But don’t punish yourself too hard. Unwanted condemnations and confusions will stop you from moving on.
Everybody is here for a purpose. You have your extraordinary value in this world. Free yourself from the burden of impressing people. Your very existence itself is the greatest validation.
Self-validation is taking an internal journey. Self-validation gives you wisdom. Self-validation makes you indestructible. You impress your ‘self’!!

Thank You. Love!!

PETALS

Petals and the Pack

I respect hyenas
Neither had they tried for 'likes'
Nor had they ridden any bikes
For they are not the guys that pester the petal
These are the beasts that deserve a minus genital

I CAN SIN!!!

Lust.  Let insatiable desire embrace my spiritual chastity. Let my animal appetite be sated with an intrusion of cosmos.
Gluttony.  Let me not diet in endless empathy. Let my stomach starve for stacks of sensibility.
Greed.  Let my heart long for nonstop refinement. Let my spirit crave for pleasure in giving devoted love.
Sloth.  Let me not shed my core. Let me not sweat for paltry packs.
Anger.  Let me fume at my sour side. Let me rage at my jumpy mind.
Envy.  Let my eyes envy the good and print out the best.  Let my mind copy only my soul.
Pride.  Let me be proud of being a spark of the collective fire. Let me brag for keep trying to be me.

And I am worth of all the sins.

Thank You. Love!!

COLOURS

WHITE SPACES

I couldn't post a piece in my blog yesterday owing to some connection issues with my wiFi. It started to make me little uncomfortable. Then the idea of White Space hit me hard.

Why should I desire every space of my life to be filled anyway? What's wrong in letting a day to be unfilled? Couldn't yesterday be a White Space Day for me? Don't we need a break sometimes in a beautiful place?

White Space

But what is this White Space? Technically, it's a space, integrated into a design that's left empty. Personally, it's a margin to pull over on a busy highway to take time for ourselves. It's a "sit back and take a deep breath" time honey. It's an oasis in the scorching desert. It's a sanctified refuge.

Why this White Space

People are wired to patterns. We are so entangled in these patterns and too busy to notice the beauty of life slipping away.

The beauty of our lives lies in white spaces. These are the lifelines of life. Since we are all electronically elevated, le me explain this way. A white space is important for our lives like how recharging is important for our mobiles. Without white spaces life just shuts down.

Where to put the White Space

To insert white spaces into our lives first we have to create them. How to create? Simple. Pick up what's important for you, now remove the clutter that surrounds it. Stop doing things that don't matter. Our white space is created! From that, something new will emerge!

White Spaces are so different. Snoozing, reading books, meditating, stretching our and relaxing, trying out a new dish, working on a hobby, chit chatting with friends, laughing and crying, being funny. being crazy, spending time with family - all these come under White Spaces. It's our space, honey! Do whatever you want. But we need to make sure the White Space our prime of joy and composure. We have to unschedule all our schedules before we jump in here.

Having created White Spaces let's insert them into the three areas of our lives: Physical, Mental and Emotional.

Physical -  We should leave some White Spaces to our body. Let it starve let it rest. It's quite okay. Let the White Spaces restores and revitalizes your bodies.

Mental -  We have to come out of our regular molds. We must try to discover our buries skills and forgotten powers. We have to develop new values. Basking in the White Space releases us from stress and worries. White Space gives us answers.

Emotional - We need to subtract our gadgets and submerge in our family or friends. Let thousands of texts fill our mobiles and tons of emails fill our inboxes, need not care.

Practice White Space

Keep Calm:  Let us start our day in silence. Let us be with us for few minutes. What a great way to start a day. Let no one or nothing rent a space in our White Space.

Breath in Breath Out:  In the intervals of major tasks ex; cooking, laundry, office meetings, long drives, etc. Let us sit firmly keeping our head, back and neck in a straight line for a couple of minutes. Keeping the eyes closes, we have to breathe in and breath out slowly. focus on the breath. This gears us up for our next task.

Put a tiny task in between: Between two major tasks, we need to program a tiny task which requires less tension. It helps us to be more bouncy for the next task.

Plan Properly:  We should not mess ourselves up with too many ideas and tasks. We must plan our tasks properly to play them smart.

Unclutter: Make more room in our houses or workplaces or in our minds or in our hearts. Purge our pointless details. See more blank spaces.

Live in the Moment: Whatever work we do we must always take pleasure in the current moment. It gives us greatest contentment and peace of mind.

Keep Calm Again: We can end our day in silence again. Close the eyes. take regular breaths and calm the mind.

That is how my 'no wiFi day' turned into a White Space day for me. I prioritized me. I read a book. I roamed out. I rested. I introspected. I filled my White Space with spiritual presence. I began to grow in my White Space.

Thank You. Love!!

LIFE

A Local Train

Many people, many stations, and many destinations. The distance two points include the lives of many. Everything is strange here.

Boarding the train in rush, as if embarking the Noah's Ark. Wrestling, running, jumping and sprinting. Every act is a feat here.

Some sleep, some read, some play, some pray, some smile, some scold, some talk, some shout, some sit, some stand, some hawk, some walk. Every person is a play here.

Stations change, people change, positions change, moods change. Sometimes the one sitting in the same seat smells bad. Every minute is a challenge here.

Near ones debark. Strangers embark. A young mother’s grin. An old woman’s plight. Claustrophobic or keno phobic. Everyone is a wonder here.

Some people didn’t get on board with us. They stand and watch as our train passes for it is not their train. Also, the train may take halts. Yet we all travel forever.

It’s a Local Train.

We may miss the trains but never the stations.

Thank You. Love!!

STORY

Angel in a Thorn Bush

Once there was a wonderful garden with the most beautiful rose bushes that had sweet smelling roses. The roses turned the place into a paradise. Thousands of people visited the garden every day and enjoyed.
There was a thorn bush in one corner of the garden, all withered and dry. It was very envious about the rose bushes for the grand treatment given to them. Envy thickened into sorrow.
One day in the middle of the night, the thorn bush saw angels soaring in the sky. And all of a sudden it started to wail bitterly. A tiny angel saw the wailing thorn bush from the above. It took pity on the bush and came down to know the reason for its sorrow.
The thorn bush went on saying “Angel angel the God is so unkind, He gave all the flowers to the rose bushes and left me with these ugly thorns. No one would like to look at me. People are frightened to come near me, and are even throwing junk at me.”
The angel flapped its wings and fluttered its eyes in disbelief. The thorn bush continued craftily, “If I were to have flowers like the rose bushes I wouldn’t be so selfish like the rose bushes. I would have given a flower to everyone who would pass by. But see how unlucky I am!”
The angel was pleased with these words and said, “Dear Thorn Bush! Don’t be sad for what you don’t have. Let me turn all your thorns into beautiful flowers using my magic dust. So that you could bestow flowers to everyone and make them happy.” Saying this, the angel waved the magic spell and instantaneously the thorn bush was decked with full of gorgeous flowers. It was weighed down with joy.
Each day people flooded into the garden to see the thorn bush and spent their time in admiring the beauty of its flowers. The bush allowed every visitor to reach out and pluck a flower from it. There were endless visitors and there was an endless supply of flowers.
Days later fame and focus began to get into the thorn bush. It started looking down on the rose bushes. And every time the visitors went near, the thorn bush fluffed it's flowering so that they would look the greatest.
One day after all the visitors were gone for the day, the poor gardener’s little daughter came to the thorn bush and asked hesitantly in a soft voice:
“Dear Thorn Bush, everywhere I hear the talk of your fine-looking flowers. I was never given a flower during the time I had spent here. Could you kindly present me a beautiful flower? I would pour you the sweetest water in return”
Thornbush smirked and said, “Don’t be silly you wretched girl! I am the queen of the garden. How dare you asked me for my prized flower and offered me water!!”
The little girl felt very saddened and turned on her heel. But the thorn bush was very egotistical; it wanted to teach the girl a lesson for asking a flower. It called back the girl and said, “If you want a flower, you have to climb up on me and pluck one.” This time the thorn bush stood up high to make it difficult for the little girl to climb.
The girl felt happy, she wiped off the streaks of tears from her cheeks and cheerily started to climb the thorn bush, not knowing that the long thorns would hurt her. When the girl tried to catch hold of the bush, a long thorn pierced the middle of her palm deeply. Blood oozed out from her palm. She cried in awful pain. The thorn bush chuckled at her unkindly.
Just then all the pretty flowers on the thorn bush swiftly disappeared leaving the withered and grumpy one behind. The bush was baffled and looked around in dismay.
The angel appeared carrying a basket full of dazzling flowers and handed it over to the little girl. The little girl took the basket and looked at the angel with her eyes widened in wonder, sparkling with tears.
The angel looked at the thorn bush and said, “Dear Thorn Bush, all these days you hated yourself for not being what you are not. And when you became what you are not, you forgot what you are. It was not you who turned your thorns into petals. All the while I was there inside you in disguise making flowers from my magic dust. The magic will not work in a place where there is no place for humility. Embrace God’s plan and try to shine from within you.”
The angel planted a kiss on the child’s cheek and flew high.
